Every year during the summer, as it is traditionally seen throughout various Chicago neighborhoods, we hold a block party. During this time, we block off the 4900N block of Troy and hold a celebration which includes worship, testimonies, free food, games, sports, a block-long race, and other fun activities like face painting. It is a fun way to get involved in the neighborhood where Christ Church is located as well as a great time to share the love of Christ to everyone.
