Baptism service happens once a year, on the last Sunday of August. We believe baptism to be a public event, a declaration to the world. That is why we have it at Foster Beach. Plus, it’s more fun that way!
Baptism service usually involves worship followed by a short testimony from the ones being baptized. Then there is a charge given to them and then it’s off to the shores of Lake Michigan for the actual baptism! Then there is food that we share together.
